Olivia & Jon traveled north from their home town of Sydney, to run to the paradise of Temple Farm House for an Elope tiny wedding experience!! This epic venue is located 20 minutes West of Byron Bay and is a hinterland paradise with 360 degree views. The house on the property is a designers dream, with epic architecture and North Coast styling to match!! Temple Farm House has multiple ceremony spaces and on Jon & Olivia's day there was a pretty stiff wind blowing. We were super lucky to christen their new outdoor green chapel space, amongst the native rain forest, with a huge tree holding the center of it all. In the intimate ceremonies like this one, I love to jump in and g'day to the couple before it all kicks off, help them stay grounded and enjoy the celebration. Being that there's no other friends or family helping get ready, the nerves can creep in unexpectedly once the wedding outfits are on. Our lovebirds had their VIP's Zooming in from their homes in Australia and most were suitably dressed for the occasion!! How lucky I was to be their lucky Marriage Celebrant, to hold the space in their ceremony and be a witness to the magic that was unfolding!! Oh... and they were such a gem couple for the bonus points!!!

Our lovebirds first crossed paths over in the UK thanks to our intrepid groom chasing the travel adventure overseas. It would be at the Notting Hill Carnival, in a small pub garden where their universes would collide!! Jon though Olivia was shy, gorgeous and nerdy. Our gorgeous bride thought Jon was handsome, VERY Australian, hillarious and also thought he might be Gay as he was so relaxed and obviously not hitting on her. The conversation began, Jon was definitely not gay, numbers were swapped and a good night was had! More dates ensued and on date 3 Jon cooked Olivia carbonara at his share house in Willsden Green and the Love words were spoken on a trip in Edinburgh shortly after!! Wardrobes merged in good time, the pursuit of travels around the UK and Europe began and the connection deepened!! Then came the moment in this love story where Jon's visa ran out and it was time to head back home again. Olivia followed her instincts and the love of her life down under!!
