Midginbil Hill is an epic Rural Wedfest Venue out in the Hills of Northern NSW, just beyond Uki; 45 minutes from both Byron Bay and the Gold Coast. This super versatile space can accommodate your guests and create a weekend long celebration of the Love for the 2 Lovebirds! I dig how the guests roll in on Friday arvo and float away on Sunday arvo, an experience - not just an evening! Scott & Jess took on the DIY path for their celebrations and absolutely smashed the ball out of the park, with a little help from their friends! They held their ceremony under the huge Figtree on top of the property which overlooks the breath taking vista of Mt Warning and the surrounding countryside! The Wedding Ceremony was filled with so much warmth and interaction from the vibrant wedding guests! There were high 5's, fist pumps and smiles on all of those who were privileged to lean in on this spectacle of Love and Commitment! From a random meeting in a cab line in the Valley in Brisbane, to the Kiss they shared as Mr & Mrs Moodie, this tale was awesome. We had such a great time at our wedding and although I thought the reception was my most favourite part of the day on the day celebrating and being with friends and family. I have to admit that the feeling on top of the hill was something special and out of this world - to say the least, it is now my most favourite part of our wedding and marriage. I know its commonly said, but I do feel so lucky to have married my best friend! I have heard some lovely stories from Scott, family and friends about the lead up to my arrival on top of the hill! Also, thanks to you, a little bit of crowd pumping prior to my arrival on the hill made sure everyone was in cheery spirits once the formalities started. I also had a friend ask me if we had requested you to wear the wooden bow tie - unfortunately that was your impeccable dress style and I couldn't take that compliment myself. Everyone loved your cool calm nature and easy going vibe during the ceremony. It was easy to be comfortable in your presence from the first time we'd met at the Miami Marketta - 'A darling Affair' wedding expo, our Skype chats getting to know each other and meeting again just prior to the wedding which made Scott and I feel confident and comfortable that we had chosen the best wedding celebrant ever! Thanks for being incredibly supportive of our love story and making us both Moodies!"
