When you plan a wedding you aim for sunshine and blue skies and then sometimes the rain gods have other ideas. Kris & Skye had the hearts set on getting married under the amazing Fig Tree Restaurant outdoor ceremony space, so whilst it rained their guests sipped a couple of extra cocktails and the Byron Bay Weddings Team were at the ready to pull off the tarps and get the party started. With a break in the weather it was all hands on deck and as you can see in the photos below it all worked out absolutely perfectly!! We scored an amazing and dry time under the tree, my hair may've been a bit damp from a fair bit of inside / outside action checking on the bridal party but that's all part of being a Team Player!! I think that additional adrenaline and tension helped to make this such a special ceremony, at one stage even I didn't think they'd get hitched outside; and I'm a glass half full kinda guy. This celebration was so elegant and classy and I felt privileged to hold the space in this epic Byron Bay Wedding ceremony. Kris and Skye handled the extra wet weather pressure life pros and the Team around them was exceptional!!
