Lauren & Chris created the ultimate Byron Bay Micro Wedding with the help of the crew from Elope!!! Another seamless experience up at Byron View Farm and as you can tell from the images below this experience as straight out of a Wedding Magazine!! Our couple had so much style and taste and it was an honuor to slot in as their marriage celebrant. The ceremony was the perfect mix of sophistication, warm humour and romantic vibes!! I'm all about being authentic to my couples adventure and connecting with their VIP's and I walked away feeling like I'd kicked this goal with Lauren & Chris. After the afternoon ceremony, their guests sipped on cocktails as our lovebirds adventured around this wonderland in the golden light! Then to top off the experience they dined on a long table covered in cascading fairy lights, which truly is as good as it gets!!! Oh and what about the brides amazing gown created by here friend and designer at Alcaline Bride
I loved catching up with the couple, after their First Look photo session with Carly Tia to sign some paperwork and to rid any last minute nerves. Loved how Lauren & Chris took the time to connect with each other before their guests arrived and the celebrations had begun. Even better that the 1st look included a yummy cocktail too, as they walked around the property to check out their vision that had come to life!
And then it was time for the ceremony to begin, the guests seated and my job as the Wedding Fluffer had begun..... The setting of the ceremony was really spectacular and the Blooms on the Pine Trees was world class. I loved being the story teller and a highlight of the ceremony was the Joining of Families. A modern take on the Giving Away moment in the ceremony where the parents come together with their couple in the ceremony. We talk about 2 families coming together and the family trees merging with this marriage. I ask the parents if they welcome the Bride or Groom into their family and the ad-lib answers are always straight from the heart! Love the Hug in at the end too!!
Lauren laughs most at Chris's great fake accents, especially Indian and Lebanese, which make her giggle, even when she's in a bad mood! Lauren loves that Chris is an incredibly hard worker that never complains even under the most stressful situations. She digs that she gets to see a soft, generous and kind side of him that no one else does. Lauren is a huge fan of the cute freckles on his nose, that he's a master chef and also when Chris flares his nostrils when he's really trying not to laugh. She's well aware in the marriage that Chris always wants to play Xmas Carols, when it's not even Xmas, drive her mental!!
Chris smiles most when Lauren greets him at the front door when he comes home from being away at work on Friday nights. Chris loves that Lauren is always there for him at his worst, and his best. Plus that he can be himself around Lauren all the time. Chris loves that Lauren is his walking Calendar, she knows more about his life than Chris. Chris is a fan of Lauren's cheeky giggle and how selfless she is. Chris is well aware in this marriage that Lauren leaves the hair straightener on 90% of the time she uses it, one day she'll burn the apartment down!!
